LADY J HUSTON
Lady J Huston toured as Music Director, Vocalist, Trumpeter with Blues Hall of Fame Inductee, Albert King performing on shows with greats such as B.B. King, Etta James, Muddy Waters, Bobby “Blue” Bland, Koko Taylor & Taj Mahal. She has performed in Las Vegas with Bill Pickney's Original Drifters, show-rooms, clubs and Blues Festivals across the U.S. Lady J was featured in the 2008 All Star cast finale of NBC's “America's Got Talent” that aired worldwide to over 25 million viewers. She received the “Best Blues Performer” award by the Black Music Association and Entertainers Consumer Exchange in Las Vegas, 2009-2013.
Her album "Groove Me Baby" won the 2023 Blues Blast Magazine Music Award for "New Artist Debut Album" which also debuted at #1 on the Roots Music Report.
The Lady J Huston Show is highly energetic combining Classic Soul, Jazz and Blues with Lady J's own perfected dance arrangements and pays tribute to Albert King. Lady J now reside in St. Louis, MO and is continuing her musical pursuits with an emphasis on recording and composing original songs.
In 2025, she received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Legends In Film Festival in St. Louis, MO.
