CHARLES BARNHILL, U.S.DEPUTY MARSHALL
This is the historical fiction account of the real life exploits off Charles Barnhill and his brothers, Abel and James, wo served the court of the Western District of Arkansas from 1879 until 1896. This court was run by the famous Judge Isaac Parker, "hanging judge" Charles was known as the "Bible-believing marshal" and never killed a man in the course of his duties. However, he and his brother Abel. serving most of the time as his posse, were wounded multiple times in the furtherance of their duties. They worked with other notable lawmen such as Heck Thomas and Bass Reeves. This is a tale not long forgotten.
