Landscape painting in acrylics of a very old covered bridge on a little used country road painted on a large (5" x 6") stone. This painting was one of my first large landscapes and overall it took approximately 7 hours to complete prior to being given it's protective coating of polyurethane. Both the top and bottom of the finished stone are coated so that any water on the bottom of the stone cannot seep under the coating on the top causing the acryllic paint to run, destroying the work.
