This 9 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 2" Blue Confetti Bowl is fused glass with bits of different colors of blue glass spread throughout. It works well as a display piece of glass art or a serving bowl for parties or buffets.
Glass fusing, sometimes called working with warm glass, is a form of artistic expression that uses the heat of a kiln to melt 2 or more different pieces of glass together and fuse them into 1 piece. This newly formed glass is then slumped over a ceramic mold to form a specific shape pulled downward by gravity.
Special Orders: The plate can be special ordered in many color combinations. It may also be special ordered as a set of plates - twos, fours or sixes.
This product is hand-made and inherently has some minor irregularities and imperfections. Stained or Fused Glass may have inclusions, bubbles or other marks. These in no way mean that the piece is damaged or unacceptable.
