The plate can be used for various purposes - serving dish, side dish, buffet plate, sushi plate, or for display. It can be one of a set of three different blue shaded plates, a set of the same color plates, or a separate dish.
Glass fusing or kilnforming, is a method of artistic expression that uses the heat of a kiln to melt 2 or more different pieces of glass together and fuse them into 1 piece. This newly formed glass is then placed over a ceramic mold to form a specific shape pulled downward by gravity called slumping.
