My enamel objects and jewelry are made by kiln firing enamels on pure copper. The designs are often abstract. On this rectangular Tray I've used a couple of different shades of deep transparent blue enamel with added bits of green and blue ground glass and 6 slices of millefiori glass cane for the center, clear and transparent enamels layered on the sides and transparent Prussian Blue for the underside.
The resulting dish would make a great ring or other jewelry dish at the bedside or on a dresser or even in a bathroom. Or it could used in an entryway or just as a decorative object anywhere in the home or office. Measures 4.5 inches long and 2.75 inches wide and about one-third of an inch deep..
