This is a gorgeous, functional piece of elegant, rustic furniture that is sure to tickle the fancy of wine aficianados or anyone who recognizes the beauty of this very pecky old growth wood. The sides are made of beautiful, five inch thick, pecky red cedar and the top is a live edged, pecky slab accentuated by crushed turquoise inlays.. The bottle rack below holds eight bottles and the glass holders (made of solid cherry) will accomodate twenty-two plus stemmed glasses. The live edged shelf also provides extra storage for more wine, glasses, or whatever. The finish, consisting of four coats of satin spar-urethane varnish with UV inhiibtors, hand sanded between coats, provides excellent protection against the elements.
