Grandma's RUB

RUB means just that! Sprinkle the contents of the package
(or a portion thereof, just enough to coat the meat) and RUB
or Pat it in. (Make sure your hands are DRY or it will be a
real mess.) Let it sit and Marinade for a few minutes to an hour
and then Grill.  Better yet, RUB it into the meat and slow cook
it in the oven covered at 275° for a couple of hours and then
uncovered until fully cooked and lightly browned on the top or
finish cooking it on the Grill. Works on ANY type of meat but is
exceptional on Pork. You will have to adjust cooking times for
various cuts of meat. The example given is for Ribs and Small
Roasts or Turkey Breasts. DO NOT USE on FISH! It is simply
TOO strong for fish.

Like Fried Chicken?
Over waxed paper, coat a cut-up chicken or two with the
RUB on both sides (add a little seasoned salt as well).
Place chicken in sealed plastic bags for at least two hours,
BETTER overnight. The next day, coat the chicken with Krusteaz®
pancake mix (I use a brown paper bag) and fry until
golden brown. Place chicken in a paper towel lined pan in a warm
oven until all pieces are cooked and ready to serve.  Enjoy!

You can also use it as seasoning for soups, stews and meat loaf.
Start with a table spoon and work your way up if needed.
