This hat is made from the basic pillbox style, but I added the ruffles in varied colors to match Nora's coat. This hat is extremely warm and toddlers seem to like wearing it because they don't attempt to take it off like a lot of hats. After I finished my first one like this,main called it the Birthday Cake Hat because it looks like a torte cake.
