Englewood artist, Marsha Banas
specializing in fun with her whimsical dog portraits. Member of the Lemon Bay Arts Alliance, Marsha painted the 3 dog art bench in the Dearborn Street business district. She also donates to the SunCoast Humane Society with paintings, and proceeds from sales. She has just finish her mural at the Royal Palm Marina’s Memorial Day ‘Seawall’ Art Competition.
I was always drawing as a young girl growing up in Iowa, creating new places, animals and people on paper. After 20+ years as a graphic designer I am spending more time creating new things again with oils, painting whimsical dog portraits (and a few cats too!). They are painted in oils on 12x12 inch artist panels with a cradled 1.5 inch side that is painted, ready to hang.
