APPLES IN A WHOLE NEW WAY!
It all started with our homemade spicy beef jerky, then we began dehydrating home grown vegetables, a variety of hot peppers and local fruits. We gave our creations to friends and family and they were always well received and in demand.
Our dehydrated apples were unexpected when a friend gave us more than we can eat in a month! It was my husbands crazy flavor combination & ideas that led us to our current apple creations and product line. Last year we had overwhelming requests for our chocolate dipped apples that friends were supplying us with bushels of apples to produce them!
About Our Apples
We use the freshest apples from local orchards in NYS. We dehydrate different varieties of apples throughout different times of the year and work closely with our apple growers expertise to guide us on the best choice for our product line. We understand that firmness, sweetness and water content play a huge part in the perfect texture we strive for.
Our Name & Vision
Our name (Apple Of My Eye) was inspired by Psalm 17:8 (Keep me as the apple of thine eye, hide me under the shadow of Your wings) and we know it's a perfect fit for many reasons. Our vision, it's way beyond just selling chocolate dipped apples. It's about having the freedom and ability to sow into the lives of people throughout the world and to be a blessing to others without measure. This isn't limited to just providing food, clothing and a place to live. We believe in giving and supporting local shelters, ministries and organizations that are making a difference in the lives of others and the community.
