My name is Paulette, and from an early age, I learned how to be creative from my watching my mother. She taught me how to can food, sew, knit, crochet, fix cabinets, and paint! all of my entrepreneurial gifts are passed down from my Mother. I have always had a love for natural things. (got that from my Mama too) She always said ( If you have to read it, Don't eat it) Same applies to putting things on your body.
My grand babies call me Sweetpea, so in 2007 when my first Grandson was born, Is when started making natural body products to sell. I found it only fitting to name my company Sweetpeaz baby. I began making natural body products from essential oils and sea salts for extra income but I never really took my company to the next level. My oldest son Travion used to say “Mom, your soaps and scrubs are so good, you should go into business.”
His words live in my heart and have been my inspiration to truly jumpstart Sweetpeaz baby. I unexpectedly lost Travion on June 29, 2012 but I intend to make my company thrive in his memory, and be a legacy for my grandchildren.
Making soaps and scrubs, hair products and all of my natural concoctions has been a lifesaver for me. The creative process is truly therapeutic and has helped me to survive the loss of my son.
My goal with my Aromatherapy products is to help people make the transition from store bought products that contains additives, colorants, parabens, silicones, and unnatural and cancer causing dyes and preservatives,to products made from all natural raw and organic butters, carrier and essential oils that soothe your senses, soften you skin & heal the mind, body, and spirit. My knowledge and continued study of essential oils and their healing properties have truly been a blessing for me, and I believe they will do the same for you. I make my products with the best of nature's ingredients I create artisan/organic soaps, scrubs, body butters, Hair butters, tonics, shampoos, pomades, salves, Hair Puddin, massage oils, baby safe products, healing for eczema products, household and other aromatherapy items.
Sweetpeaz baby is a labor of love inspired by love! I want people to experience and appreciate nature the way that I do, through Aromatherapy by way of touch, smell, healing relaxation, and rejuvenation.
