normandie and nancy are: THE BEAD LADIES ARE HERE!
after several years of designing and making jewelry for family and friends we decided to expand our horizons.
this came about because we took a re-positioning cruise to europe that was 16 days. we brought with us some jewelry making materials to fill in some of the time at sea. we worked on the lido deck and by the end of the cruise, we had sold several hundred dollars worth of specialty made jewelry. additionally, we had many women that wanted classes to make their own jewelry, so we gave jewelry making class right on the lido deck. we became known on the ship as the: bead ladies". other passengers when looking for us would ask the stewards "have you seen the 'bead ladies' today?
when we returned to the u.s. after 2 months in europe, we came home with a suitcase full of wonderful european beads.
we expanded when we got home to teaching classes at local brevard libraries. we are now at: titusville, cocoa, southmainland and satellite beach. we do classes for church groups, home parties, etc.
and now we also sell at craft fairs, church fairs, farmers markets and on etsy & dawanda.
