The Big Grouch & the Little Girl
The Beautiful Black Tee's trademark words and definitions originated from letters to a little girl.
Written by a curmudgeonly man, burned out and frustrated over how life was turning out for him, these letters were first scripted to remind the little girl about what truly mattered about living well and being happy.
The reactions to these letters were touching. And so we felt we should share these words with the world.
In 2008, these messages were put on tee shirts. In 2009, Promise Cards were born. And in 2010, our ChariTee movement began with certain tees have charitable ties to help protect the environment, shelter an animal, and help send kids to camp.
