Its humble origins as an annual gathering and homecoming of Civil War veterans, with the traditional preparation of Bean Soup served during the Civil War. Tons of great northern beans and tons of ground beef stirred in wood‑fired 35 gallon kettles and served by the bowl, just as it happened during the civil war. FREE gate and FREE entertainment.
