The Iris Festival is held annually over Memorial Day Weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) Sumter's Iris Festival is S.C.'s oldest continuous festival and ranked among the top festivals in the Southeast. The 3‑day festival includes a Pageant, concerts, arts & crafts, flower show, food tasting, crowning of the Iris Festival king and queen, contests and children's activities.
