Join us for a weekend of entertainment in Kasson! The weekend is full of family‑friendly activities, from an outdoor movie in the park Friday night to the belly flop contest, eating contest, obstacle courses and much more on Saturday. Don't forget about the parade on Sunday! Food and craft vendors are also in the park all weekend. There is something for everyone to enjoy at the Kasson Festival in the Park!

Governor’s Plan to reopen:

Continuing to Safely Reopen Minnesota’s Economy and Ensure Safe Non-Work Activities during the COVID-19 Peacetime Emergency (5/27)

Mask Mandates:

Requirement. Under EO 20-81 (effective July 25, 2020), Minnesotans are required to wear a face covering in indoor businesses and indoor public settings. Exempts persons with a medical condition and children under the age of 6.

Effective May 7, fully vaccinated staff, patients, visitors, and residents do not need to wear face covering in healthcare settings but must follow the guidance for healthcare settings issued by federal authorities, including the CDC and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Additionally, face coverings do not need to be worn at outdoor gyms.

Mass Gathering Restrictions:

Effective May 7, indoor social gatherings are limited to 50 people. There is no limit on outdoor social gatherings. Additionally, organizers of social gatherings are encouraged to wait to hold such gatherings until participants can be fully vaccinated.

Additionally, places of worship, funeral homes, and venues that offer space for event such as wedding ceremonies and funeral services must develop and implement a COVID-19 Preparedness Plan.
