Mask Mandates:
Emergency Order Under MCL 333.2253 was rescended on 10/15. Emergency Order Under MCL 333.2253 required people to wear homemade, non-medical grade face coverings when they enter enclosed public spaces. It will also require employers to provide at least cloth face coverings to their employees. New EO includes enforcement provisions & penalties. E0 2020-185 requires all students kindergarten and up to wear a mask while at school. required by 2020 EO-59 & EO-96. Replaces 2020 EO-147.
Mass Gathering Restrictions:
Emergency Order Under MCL 333.2253 was rescended on 10/15. Beginning October 5, social gatherings indoors of more than 10 people are permitted provided each person at the gathering wears a face covering. Outdoor gatherings of up to 100 persons are permitted if each person at the gathering wears a face covering. As of June 15, 2020, EO 2020-110 is rescinded for regions 6 and 8. In these regions, indoor gatherings may have 50 people and outdoor gatherings may have up to 250. In the rest of the state, indoor gatherings of more than 10 people are prohibited as are outdoor gatherings of more than 100 people. Original restrictions on large gatherings contained in EO 2020-05.
