The Caddo Gap Heritage Festival in Caddo Gap, Arkansas highlights our Ouachita Mountains heritage, seeking to preserve and promote the old time skills, crafts, and lifestyle of the Ouachita Mountain settlers in southwest Arkansas from the early 1800's up until the 1940's. Along with vendors offering homemade or handmade items, there are numerous demonstrators that captivate both children and adults of all ages. The demonstrations include blacksmithing, wool‑spinning, broom‑making, quilting, log hewing, old time farm skills, Native American crafts, flintknapping, antique tractors, engines, & cars, along with Civil War re‑enactments, and more.
