The concert is entitled “Spacetacular” and features music inspired by a subject that has captivated the imaginations of people everywhere throughout history: Outer Space. Come hear music from Richard Strauss, Gustav Holst, Julie Giroux, and the timeless music from John Williams' score to the original Star Wars Trilogy. The concert will also showcase area middle school honor band students as part of our annual “Musicians for a Lifetime” program. We welcome our guest conductor, Christopher James Lees, Resident Conductor, Charlotte Symphony.
