Amanda was born and raised on the stage. From the age of 12 years old, when she was hired for her first gig, she knew performing was what she wanted to do for life! Amanda's daily life has always been music, having started playing piano at the ripe age of 3 and having over 1,000 shows under her belt by the age of 16! As a child, she had something every night of the week, whether it was a dance, voice, acting, piano class or rehearsal. She hasn't stopped living and breathing it ever since.
She started working professionally at the age of 12, performing 5 days/week, and became the vocal director at 14 for the show's quartet. By the age of 19, she was playing weekly in the night clubs, entertaining and holding the rowdy crowd with tremendous energy, keeping the dance floor packed until it was past "last call". She continued to hone her craft (and make a living) for the next several years, singing virtually every genre known to man and traveling the country as the lead singer for one of the most sought-after cover bands of the past two decades, playing the high-end socialite private parties and celebrity weddings all across the US and Caribbean.
"I come from a musical family...I grew up singing harmonies and making music - across three generations! I sang in the piano lounges with my grandmother when I was 7.. my dad taught me how to sing harmony in the car when I was 8..and those are some of my fondest memories."
A few of the artists she has shared the stage with:
Blake Shelton, Scott Hoying (Pentatonix) Shaggy, Shaq, Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs, Tim McGraw, Third Day, Michael W Smith, Casting Crowns, Mary Mary, Bryan White, Jeff Wood, Jason Matthews; and old friends, Jerrod Neimann, Audra Mae, Katrina Elam..
Goals:
"Music is my passion and purpose in life and I will never stop doing what it takes to achieve musical greatness!" Her goals and aspirations are set high, as she plans to travel the world sharing her music, impacting many lives and being an inspiration to all her fans. "I want to inspire people with my music.. I want them to walk away feeling better"
