Having been a woodworker for 45 years, in 1992 I started Heirlooms Inc., doing reprodution Colonial Furniture. I had always had a great interest in Shaker Early on, I began building oval boxes and carriers and, for the past several years, have done this pretty-much exclusively. My sales come from participation in arts and crafts fairs, through my website, repeat customers and a couple of high-end retail establishments in New England who specialize in Reproduction Shaker Furniture and Accessories. I've been selected by Early American Life Magazine (and their panel of judges) as one of the Top Traditional Craftsmen in America for six consecutive years (2005 - 2010) .

Up to now I've stayed pretty-much in Texas as far as arts & crafts shows are concerned. One of my goals for the immediate future is to expand and begin traveling to other states I want to participate in some of the larger and better shows around the country and think I might be able to do 8-10 shows per year.

I'm pretty new to the "show" side of the business and have a lot to learn But, I have found other, more experienced artists to be more than willing to help, offer advice and suggestions, etc. Up to now I have found contact with these artists to be nothing but positive.
