The Davids Meet Goliath!
When David Johnson and David Wells decided to open an event center in Arizona there was a plethora of empty big box stores. Event Center Arizona now has short term leasing agreements with the City of Scottsdale, Wescor, De Rito Properties and a number of wineries to produce "signature events" in 2011 and 2012.
Both Johnson and Wells know what it is like to be on the vendor side of special events, they started out with the premise to be vendor friendly and have leased show case locations to feature artists, craftspeople, entrepreneurs, small businesses and non profit organizations. "Location is key to an events success." says Johnson.
Both men have worked the vendor circuit and know what it's like to pay space rent, set up, sell, tear down and not even get a "thank you" from the show promoters. "Professional Vendors are another key to a successful event.", said Wells. "The vendors we work with are amazing, so creative and what they sell is an excellent value for the consumers. These vendors deserve a lot more respect from promoters."
