Janet Gamache and Brian Young began collaborating in 2009 when they were both business owners and members of the local tourism organization, Visit Mount Dora, in Mount Dora, FL. It was at this time that they created their first event, "Paws for Mount Dora" which was designed to attract people into the downtown core. The event led visitors to local shops once a month with their pets to get a stamp and then return with their card to win prizes. You had to be present to win so it forced visitors to shop and eat lunch in town until the drawing. Over the next 15 years, Janet and Brian formed WTDI (What To Do In) LLC and have been instrumental in creating new events, as well as assisting cities with reinvigorating already established annual festivals. Today, WTDI coordinates and promotes the Feb Mount Dora Arts Festival, Feb Lake Nona Art Festival, Mar Longwood Pirate Days, Mar Mount Dora Spring Festival of Arts and Crafts, Apr Orlando Spring Fiesta at Lake Eola, Apr Mount Dora Earth Day, Apr Mount Dora Blueberry Festival, Sept Mount Dora Viva La Frida Festival, Oct Mount Dora Craft Fair, Nov Orlando Fall Fiesta at Lake Eola, Nov Longwood Arts and Crafts Festival, and the Nov Mount Dora Plant and Garden Fair.
