About

Grasstime, Nashville, TN

Grasstime is a premier Nashville-based acoustic group delivering high-energy entertainment that bridges the best of bluegrass heritage and modern innovation. Fronted by Robbie Morris, the band blends driving musicianship, tight harmonies, and engaging stage presence tailored for festival stages, private events, and music venues alike. The band has been a house band at Arrington Vineyards for over 11 years which is co-owned by country music legend, Kix Brooks from Country Music Hall of Fame group, Brooks & Dunn.

Our sound spans three core musical pillars:

• Traditional Bluegrass: Rooted in the authentic, hard-driving rhythms and timeless standards of pioneers like Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, and the Stanley Brothers. We honor the deep tradition of American roots music with clean picking, soulful storytelling, and classic mountain harmonies.

• Newgrass & Progressive Acoustic: Pushing traditional boundaries by infusing roots instrumentation with contemporary grooves, rock sensibilities, and creative modern twists. This progressive edge breathes fresh, infectious energy into unexpected covers and acoustic jams that resonate with diverse audiences of all ages.

• Original Music: Showcasing our own voice through crafted songwriting that combines genuine lyrical depth with intricate acoustic arrangements. Our originals deliver a fresh perspective while staying grounded in authentic groove and melody.

Whether headlining festival stages or providing top-tier live event entertainment, Grasstime brings professional execution, versatile setlists, and a passion for great music to every performance.
