TTe Hoosier Artisan Boutique began in 2009 when a group of Etsy sellers from Central Indiana saw the need for a craft fair featuring all handmade items. The inaugural event organized by Amber Bryce and Megan Martin was held at the Mansion at Oak Hill in Carmel and benefitted the March of Dimes. The second and subsequent events have been organized solely by Megan Martin and the HAB was moved to the Hamilton County Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall in Noblesville in order to expand the number of booths available. Beginning in 2010, the HAB became a collection point for Toys for Tots and thousands of toys have been donated to Central Indiana children by both makers and shoppers. Our event is held annually on Small Business Saturday in November.
The Hoosier Artisan Boutique is a juried event celebrating the diversity of art and fine craft made in Indiana. All items must be handmade (items significantly altered may be considered acceptable by the jury) and created by Artisans living in Indiana.
