C.C. RYDER

These are ten highly polished professional musicians that can execute just about any genre of music and do it well. CCR has played some of the highest profile corporate events here in Arizona. They have backed up and entertained with some of the top names in the industry such as; The Association, Three Dog Night, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, Stepping Wolf, The Righteous Brothers, Brenton Wood, Johnny Rivers, Ray Peterson, Wayne Newton, The Rembrandts, etc. See a video of the band at:

If you like the sound of a horn band and the songs of bands like Blood Sweat & Tears, Chicago, Average White Band, Earth Wind & Fire, Tower of Power, Brian Setzer Orchestra, Donna Summer, Chaka Khan & Rufus, Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra, Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, Jackie Wilson, etc. Then you need to listen to CCR. CCR has music by some of the horn bands from yesteryear that no one else in Arizona is doing. This is a “baby-boomers” delight.

We also have a smaller 3 to 5 piece jazz/funk/soul group derived from the same members in C.C.RYDER call BOBBY'S JAZZ ENSEMBLE for smaller venues.

A couple of the members like Bobby Van Rooy on sax and lead vocals played and sang with the Righteous Brothers for three years, worked with Don Ho, Osmonds, Englebert Humperdinck, Nancy Wilson, Ohio Players, Minnie Ripperton etc. Fred Alwag on drums was with Donna Summers, Roger Miller, Bobby Sherman and Laura Brannigan as their drummer. Tony Lugo, when it comes to showmanship on guitar, there are none left like Tony. We have professional music educators in our C.C.RYDER band such as Jim Hughens (sax), Mark Witt (trombone/harmonica), Dan Reed who for 20 years was the music director for the "LOVE BOAT" plays (trumpet/flugel horn), Curt Brodsky (keyboards), Mike Gaches (trumpet/flugel horn) and one former band teacher now principal of the number one high-school in Arizona Bob Crispin. Tim Paree (Bass) was music director of some of the largest churches in AZ.

So come on and let us build the memories for you that you can take with you forever.
