Oxford Cultural Arts has a simple mission statement to promote and preserve culture and the arts in Oxford CT. Oxford Cultural Arts is governed by a Commission (OCAC) which is staffed by volunteers. It encourages within the Town of Oxford, participation in, and promotion, development, acceptance and appreciation of, artistic and cultural activities which include, but are not limited to, music, theater, dance, painting, sculpture, architecture, literature and films, and to this end joins with private patrons and with institutions and professional organizations. OCAC supports and facilitates artistic endeavors to enhance the quality of life of its citizens and the surrounding communities. Funding is by Town monies, contributions, and grants from individuals, businesses, foundations and corporations. We support and promote the culture and activites that make Oxford Connecticut a beautiful community to live, work and raise a family.
