Pamela Hopkins

I was a professional sign painter for over 25 years.  I am retired however love to still paint and have expanded my skills to include outdoor house folk art. These structures on weather poof and are on 1/4 " wood which I cut, sand, primer and paint myself.  I do African as well as Southwestern folk art. I love being able to do art that is not all lettering and logo related....it's wonderful being able to paint outside of the box.  Altho I loved being a sign painter, you have to be perfect, and there is not a lot of room for creativity, such as there is in pure art. I also love buying old vases as well as collecting river rocks and painting designs on them.
