Panga's music boasts energetic melodies full of playfully-serious undertones, abstract views and a California way of life unique to the Central Coast. The trio's breakthrough album is an all-original sound that reflects an experimentalist's fusion of Acoustic Rock influenced by a grungy beach life & counter-culture Pop, as well as tastes of Reggae, Folk, Jazz, and Latin rhythms. Their vision is to inspire people to hop in their own hand-made panga boat, kick back with a beer & fully enjoy that feeling of nothing to do yesterday, today or tomorrow.
The group enjoys audiences of all sizes and engages them with not only their expressive wit and humor, but also reflections on love, life, and the many metaphysical aspects of the Universe as the inspiration for their songs. Their music has been featured on rising-artist sites such as Music Inform, Reverb Nation, Tribe of Noise, Pop Vulture Magazine & Discover Hit Music, and has received support by local radio DJ's & newspaper columnists via interviews and live performances. Welcomed into the California Indie-Beach scene with open arms and a warm bear hug, the group has played shows at San Luis Obispo's SLO Brew & headlined Stage Too at the 2014 Live Oak Music Festival in Santa Barbara.
