As a Songwriter, she speaks to you of experience, both personal and Universal. Mediums of messages, her songs deliver layers of life, internal moments of choice, change and hope. Over the past 40+ years, Rene has roamed the country from her hometown of Columbia, SC to Nashville, TN and Atlanta,GA, to Austin, TX and San Diego, CA. Full circle back to Charleston, SC where she was a talent buyer for a local venue while still performing locally. In the summer of 2022, Rene decided it was time for a reset, so she left Charleston, SC and moved to the mountains of Western NC where she has been writing and performing. Rene released 2 new singles in 2024, “The Key” on March 23, 2024 and “Stand for the Ocean” on April 19, 2024. August 2025, “The Singles” album released. Rene is focused on performing her originals and selecting venues that support original music.
