The Festival is staged by the St. Augustine Art Association, a non-profit, tax-exempt art organization founded in 1924 to promote excellence in the arts. Festival proceeds sustain the organization's landmark Art Center and support community exhibitions and outreach as well as education and enrichment programs for children and adults.
