Born and raised in Kentucky, Steve has spent the last seven years calling Nashville, Tennessee home.
Steve Bridgmon brings country music with a positive message. Two time Josie Award winner, Inspirational Country Music Association 2017 New Artist of the Year, 4 time GRAND OLE OPRY stage appearances, performing the national anthem for The Los Angeles Lakers and Nashville Predators.
His first radio single, Angels by another name, was his first number one as a Christian country artist reaching the top spot on 27 different Christian charts. His follow up single, a duet collaboration with Allie Colleen, an up-and-coming country music artist with deep country roots, also went #1 just a year later. His next two singles, Patiently Waiting and Jesus still loves me both were chart topping singles as well with Jesus Still Loves Me debuting on the iTunes Christian sales chart at #3, making Steve the first independent artist to have a debut song in the top 5 on iTunes.
In 2022, Steve regrouped and partnered with a new producer at Steeple Country to record the song “God Must Be Laughing”, which spent 3 weeks at the top of the Christian Country Countdown in December 2022. His next single will release worldwide in February 2023 along with a behind the scenes format music video: Between Sundays
He continues to break records in the Christian and Faith Country genre while bringing Jesus into his message from the stage to radio.
