We are located in east Central Iowa. Our communities straddle the famous Lincoln Highway - Highway 30. Each spring we celebrate the existence of the Lincoln Highway with a Bridge Festival. We are the only community that has a remaining Lincoln Highway Bridge carved with the name.
Around St. Patrick's Day, we host a 5k walk/run between the two communities as a money maker for the Chamber.
The first weekend following the 4th of July, we host the Toledo Stoplight Festival; an event honoring the one stop light in the community. The event is an opportunity for South Tama Alumni to gather for reunions, enjoy food and free entertainment.
On the third Saturday in August, the Chamber hosts the Still Cruisin' Car Show and Cruise. The one day event offers awards for a variety of classic cars. A cash prize is awarded to one winner. The day includes; entertainment, and music for classic car collectors and class car lovers.
