TASTE Tri-Cities was “cooked up” by the creative team of Becky Ferguson and Cory Wright. When these two young professionals met they discovered that they had a common passion, good food and drink. They also found that due to a significant lack of information about local restaurants many of their favorite Tri-Cities dining spots were struggling to stay in business and draw in new clientele.
This need for information was echoed by others as they networked. Ferguson and Wright realized how advantageous a “one-stop” communication link between Tri-Cities restaurants and consumer would be for both parties.
Locals and Tourists all need to be able to locate eating and drinking opportunities that are tasty, satisfying, enjoyable and unique to the Tri-Cities, Wa.

"What’s for dinner?”
“Where can we meet for a drink?”
“What’s on the menu?”
“Is it any good?”
“What will it cost?”
“Where is it?”
“Are they open?”
“Can we get take-out?”
“Who delivers in Richland?”
“Where is Karaeoke in Pasco?”
“Is there live music in Kennewick?”
“There has to be more than just Applebee’s, right?
TASTE TriCities.com and TASTE Tri-Cities Magazine was born, the ingredients for a timely, innovative and exciting opportunity to serve the Tri-Cities and local businesses.
In April of 2009, the duo aligned with Oasis School, an independant private school in Richland, WA, to relaunch Oasis' fundraising event Savor the Flavor.
Savor the Flavor, now under the management of Taste Tri Cities LLC, has grown into the laregest food, wine and culinary event in eastern Washington. Savor the Flavor 2009 is expecting 10,000 attendees from all over the Northwest this year (Nov. 13-14, 2009).
