Thad is a versatile instrumentalist, performing on ukulele, guitar, mandolin, fiddle, jaw harp, kazoo and harmonica, limber jack, bucket bass, washboard.  Musical influences include Folk, Traditional, Old-Time, Country Blues, Ballads and Roaring Twenties, Tin Pan Alley, Appalachian Mountain Music.  


His "Band in a Bucket" showcases fun and unique musical devices that inspire all to get involved with music. Performing with limber jacks, washboard, bucket base and more!  Opportunities abound for audience members to join in the fun.


Whatever your age, whatever the stage, Thad Beach has a musical program to delight you with his talent, wit and easy-going style!  


Thad  is a full-time Entertainer, Musician, Songwriter, Storyteller and Teaching Artist. As an Entertainer for over 20 years, He provides entertainment for Festivals, Fairs, Libraries, Schools, Parks, Colleges, Museums and Special Events of all kinds.

AT HOME  on any stage, Thad has a vast repertoire for any audience. He can put together a varied set list or perform one of his themed programs.


Performing Songwriter sets feature original songs and accompaniment with some traditional hoedowns, rags, polkas, jigs, and waltzes thrown in the mix.


Thad has conducted over 300 songwriting residencies in schools, working with students from settings as diverse as coastal island communities in SC to small mountain towns in the Appalachia Mountains to metropolitan areas of Kansas City and Wichita small rural communities of Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa.


Thad is an approved artist on several State Arts Organization Rosters, including the Nebraska Arts Council, South Carolina Arts Commission,  Salina (Kansas) Arts and Humanities, Kansas Creative Arts and Industries Commission, Oklahoma Library Performers.  He has been affiliated with Kennedy Center through the Lied Center Kansas Art.Teach Program and Dana Foundation/Nebraska Arts Council, Arts for Learning, Arts Partners Wichita KS/Early Childhood Initiative, Wolf Trap Kansas Early Childhood Teaching Artist and Accessible Arts Kansas City.  He has been affiliated with numerous other arts organizations locally, regionally, and nationally throughout his career.
