Stephanie and David Brehm came together through music. For nearly a decade, this vocal/guitar duo has captured the hearts of listeners worldwide. Onstage and off, you can see Stephanie and David's absolute bond of partnership and devotion to craft.
Like the smoky chanteuse she is, Stephanie's contra alto voice smolders across the duo's latest album “Summer Moon.” Her alluring signature tone is unmistakable, and during live performances she commands the stage with a sultry style that brings a feminine and honest approach to her music. The Dallas Morning News wrote she is “one of the sexiest performers in Dallas.”
Co-Writer, Co-producer, guitarist (and husband) David L. Brehm has developed a unique guitar style that compliments Stephanie's vocals with a broad harmonic palette. He likes to switch between multiple guitars during live shows and (currently) plays a Joe Pass signature model Epiphone, a Taylor steel string acoustic, and a Godin nylon string ACS. Always a crowd pleaser, David will often loop his own rhythm guitar playing so he can improvise during the solo sections of certain songs.
Many online websites currently play The Brehms music including iTunes, Pandora, Amazon, Spotify, Google Play, Rhapsody, Rdio, Deezer, eMusic, Last.fm, Shazam, Xbox Music, Medianet, Beats Music, Tradebit, Great indie Music, Digital, 24-7 Entertainment, Myxer, and iHeart Radio to name a few.
Retro infused with a dash of cocktail chic, David and Stephanie's original tune “Red Dress” was a finalist in the 2009 USA Songwriting competition. Future plans for the The Brehms include tours of the wine country, the West Coast, and a return to the studio for another CD of all original material.
With a repertoire that includes original tunes, as well as an extensive jazz, pop, and latin catalog, The Brehms deliver an unforgettable musical experience.
