Originally a songwriting project conceived by veteran vocalist Luke DeWitt (Garden of Souls, Universal Sun, Zooropa) and guitarist Dave Goodman (Coma Kick, At Variance), Vultures of Culture has become a powerhouse band that combines energetic alternative rock, power pop and classic heavy metal with catchy hooks.
The band has already opened for national acts such as Sponge and Vertical Horizon and members have shared stages with heritage acts like Night Ranger, Styx, Smashmouth and Journey and played multiple festival shows around Michigan, including Sterlingfest, Top of the Park in Ann Arbor, Stars and Stripes and Uncle Sam Jam. All members share 25 years working in the Detroit music scene.
