TLC Business Owner of Fiyah Grill Combines Her Vision Goals with CJP Community Partners

The TLC Fiyah Grill LLC Home for Teen Girls

In conjunction with

CJP Community Partners

combines both of our visions to provide homes for youth. It has been my desire to unite with a community organization  to use my food mobile kitchen as a resource to heighten awareness and raise adequate funds to help various community needs.

As part of my vision to be the "People Cater" and provide meals for venues such as small business, hockey, foot ball camps, church functions and business luncheons. I observed many charities making hard decisions concerning personnel and program cuts. Even after painful cuts some charities still struggle to stay solvent. I asked myself, How Can I Help?

TLC Fiyah Grill LLC will help by providing a wonderful opportunity to CJP Community Partners to utilize the mobile kitchen as a financial resource vehicle to achieve our joint venture goals in making a difference in the lives of people and obtaining homes for youth.

Amazing plans for my life has been mapped out by God. I am excited about my journey. God is faithful to the end of my life. My passion for food and loving people will be for the building up of His Kingdom. I can offer my 20 years of cooking expertise and degree in Food Service Management and also as a Certified Dietary Manager to the youth homes. I try to use each day to sew seeds that will flourish and grow. I believe in the saying. “You can achieve together what you can merely dream alone.”

Youth Voices & Taking Action

posted February 17, 2011   category » Voices of Youth Advocates
Youth Voices & Taking Action

Youth Survivors is a youth-led division of CJP Partners. We are a youth-directed social action group that aims to bring youth together along their common interest.

Our innovative platforms seek to nurture and empower the voices of youth. As Youth Survivors we will promote social dialogue across boundaries of age, race, class, gender, culture and sexual orientation.

Youth Survivors also educate our peers to increase their civic engagement & political participation in their communities. Our lawmakers pass bills daily that affects our lives in dramatic ways. Therefore, we organize our voices to participate in the voting process, engage with our political leaders as their constituents and develop forums to bring awareness around our specific issues as youth.
