Not sure if this has been discussed or not,but I have come across a great way to accept credit cards. Intuit gopayment. com. They have reasonable rates and the best is NO MONTHLY Fees. You only pay when you use it. They offer a free card swiper that works with quite a few cellphones. Otherwise, you can download an app for your cell phone and enter the info there. Being it comes from intuit if you use quickbooks as your accounting software, the transactions then download to your quickbooks.

Another option is to contact your banker. Many banks are willing to provide a free or low cost similar option for persons participating in annual events. Of course it would depend on the money you expect to receive. This option is more likely good for commercial businesses or non-profit groups.

I had called another vendor for credit cards and the deal just isn't as sweet as no monthly fees. I'll check out intuit before making a decision. Thanks! I use PayPal now but only on my website.

I have heard that the square is not to great due to there is no way to contact help other than emails. ย I ย have used Paypal for years with Ebay and am happy with using the Paypal here. ย The customer service with Paypal is really good and so far I have not had any problems.

I have used square and really like it. I also use Paypal. I know I like choice and some customers are cautious of square as they have never heard of it.

I am using Square and so far Love it. I do not sell online as I am a Food Vendor, but this gives my Customers the option of cash or credit. Sometimes the kids need the cash for the games &this allows for better chances of selling your product. :) I hope this helps. It also works well with Intuit .

I am starting to use sum-up, the square swiper won't fit my cell phone. Sum up has a table-based swiper like in the stores.
