Hi everyone. Does anyone have any info on alcohol at their events? i.e. Were there any problems with it? Do you feel it increased the retail vendor's sales? How did you control who purchased it? Thank you so much in advance!

Vendor Fee Refunds in case of Cancellation/Reschedule

I was just wondering what common practice was in the case of a cancellation or rescheduling of a festival. A local promoter is forced to cancel a festival planned for next weekend, rescheduling it for the week following. I have a conflict, another festival that I have paid fees for. The promoter of the cancelled festival has a no refund policy but also has a "Rain or Shine" policy which is obviously being disregarded. What is standard practice for promoters in this case? Perfect Christmas Tree Farm

Promote events on the farm

Our farm is scheduled to appear in Dec. 2012 NJ Monthly Magazine. Photo shoot was completed last Dec. Would like to have a Christmas Market at our farm this late Nov-early Dec to give our existing customers and new customers something very special. We sold over 1,300 trees last year 85% sold the first 2 weekends after Thanksgiving. We have large barns in which to hold the market and considering building Christkindlmarkt-type structures for long-term. Part of our 40 acres is a locally used, private road that connects US 22 with Route 57, commonally called the BAHA. The farms primary parking-lot is directly on US 22. We hold an annual Earth Day Celebration in May which includes a REuse Market. The farm is located 2.5 miles from I-78, exit 3.
