Dedicated to the promotion of creativity and art education, our mission is simple, “To champion art as essential to life and give our community a creative voice."
Creating CommUNITY through ART
Morro Bay Art Association is a community run, board directed, nonprofit organization. The MBAA owns and operates the Art Center Morro Bay at 835 Main Street Morro Bay. The Art Center offers two gallery spaces, a classroom/event space and a gated patio area. We host 8-9 art exhibits per year in our galleries and offer many workshops, events and demonstrations throughout the year. The MBAA hosts Art in the Park, a weekend-long art festival in the Morro Bay City Park, three times a year and sponsors fun community events such as the Art Bazaar and Art on the Patio. The MBAA is also proud to award scholarships to deserving, local high school and college students.

Our Vision
