My Shop Policies
Greetings! All the items currently listed in my shop are individually hand painted. I work freehand, without patterns or stencils, with artist-quality acrylic paints. The paints are mixed with water and medium so that the paint works into the fabric and will not peel off. Currently I am listing items that are already painted and can be mailed out right away. I accept custom orders too. Please contact me if you need a different size, or if you'd like that design on another style. Or painted in a different color palette. I'm pretty flexible! For custom work, I'll give you an estimated shipping date based on whether I have the blank garment already in stock or need to order one.

Payments: Payment in full is required when the order is placed. Use PayPal to pay by credit card. You do not need to have your own PayPal account! OR, you may mail a check or money order to me: Deborah Willard, 625 N.Trade St., Winston-Salem NC 27101
Shipping & Order Processing: Shipments are via USPS 1st Class Mail or Priority Mail. Items that are already painted will ship within 3-5 business days.
Custom orders are accepted; allow 2-4 weeks.
Refunds and Exchanges: Please contact me if you need to return or exchange an item, and let me know whether it is the fit of the garment or the painted design is not what you expected. We will work out a satisfactory solution.
There can be no returns on personalized items except in the case of artist's error.
Additional Information: I paint everything freehand. I don't use stencils or patterns, and I don't trace the designs. Therefore, your piece may vary somewhat from the image shown. But this also gives you a chance to request certain design elements and/or specify colors that you like (or don't like!). Most garments have a little something on the back shoulder or center back. If you want a full-length painting on the back as well as the front, price will be adjusted accordingly.
I create all my own designs, working from a variety of reference materials. I respect all intellectual property rights of others. I DO NOT copy art or photos created by other artists unless we have their permission. I also do not create designs using licensed material, such as Disney or Harley Davidson or Dallas Cowboys. This is illegal, and many companies are very protective of their copyrights and registered trademarks. Besides.....I like to make up my own whimsical critters and characters!
Washing Instructions: Turn inside out and machine wash in cold water.
Tumble dry on low-to-medium heat or line dry if you are concerned about
shrinkage. Most of the styles that I paint on are 100% cotton.
