This is a cute fictional story of the struggles and challenges of being different. It follows the quest of a young African Black Rhino to “fit in” with his peers. It is the author’s hope that each child who reads this book will be captivated by the story and find amusement, but also find comfort in discovering that we have each been created unique with our own set of talents and then explore those talents. The author took special care to create child-friendly rhinos working and living as a family unit.
Please take notice of the quality of the book -- a glossy laminated hardbound with saddle stitched 100# gloss stock interior pages, which beautifully showcase the watercolor and ink artwork. Additionally, you will please notice that the illustrator paid extraordinary attention to details i.e. the birds which form a bow on Mrs. Rhino’s head and later on her backside as she goes into the birthing area. Each rhino has his or her own birds that live with them.
