After over 30 years of coming to San Francisco as a visitor, I am making a conscious effort to get to know the city. One of my favorite spots so far is the deYoung Museum in Golden Gate Park. I like its eclectic exhibits and its open feel. This picture is the stairway leading from the lower level, where the special exhibitions (and the coat check) are up to the main entrance level. I really liked the curve and the open glass wall pulling you up to the wonders above.
