I make these one of a kind dog head wind chimes To Order!! using the pictures you send me. They make special and heartfelt gifts for any dog lover. They're perfect for dog lovers, rescues, memorials, family gift, holidays, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries or any occasion and can hang indoors in any window or wall or outside in a covered porch or protected area.
**Remember these are glass and can break. If you are in a high wind area, best place the chime in a protected area such as your covered porch or inside. ***
I make these to order by using your photos you email to me of the dogs face/head (at least two please) and a photo of his/her collar. I then capture the essence/spirit of him/her in glass.
I make it as personal as possible.
There are 3 chimes on the dog head with a heart on the top of each chime. You can choose paws, human footprints or both for the bottom of the chime. (see photo above)
I hand cut each piece with my hand held glass cutter in my home studio. I hand grind/file each piece to smooth the edges and then I place the pieces in I hand my kiln for approximately 18 hours to fuse the pieces together but still maintaining texture. I clean and hand polish the plate and it's ready for you.
Because I hand cut each piece, each sheet of glass is unique and the kiln process, no two are identical.
I then shape the stainless steel rings that the piece hangs from.
Size: The main part of the wind chime is approximately 6 x 6 inches. This can vary depending on the ears of the dog. There are 3 chimes each approximately 1 1/2 x 4 inches.
The chimes are hung with stainless swivels which allows for easy removal and they don't rust.
A chain is included with each wind chime for easy hangings well as instructions. Hang in a covered or protected area or inside.
Do Not Hang With A Suction Cup!! They are too heavy and fluctuations of weather could make the suction cup faulty.
Care and cleaning instructions: It is recommended to hand wash with warm water and a non abrasive soap and cloth. You can also use a non abrasive window cleaner.
