This beautiful unique one-of-a-kind Black Dragonfly bowl with fluted edges is a perfect gift for housewarmings, weddings, birthdays, holidays or just because! It’s great for candles, plants, fill it with nuts, candy, fruit or bread or use it just as it is to beautify your home with this fabulous piece.
It is comprised of 2 layers. The bottom layer is clear glass and the top layer is onyx black. I then decorate it with flowers and a dragonfly. The dragonfly wings is made with dichoric glass which is glass made with natural crystals.
Everything is hand cut by me with a hand cutter including the small pieces. I put the piece in my kiln for approximately 24 hours to meld the layers into one. I then slump it to give the glass its shape by placing the piece over a mold and putting it back into the kiln for another 24 hours. I clean and hand polish it and it’s ready for you.
Size: It is approximately 11 x 11 x 2.5 inches
The bowl does have some texture.

Care and cleaning instructions: it is recommended to hand wash with a non abrasive soap and warm water or use a non abrasive glass cleaner.
If using as a candle holder: please spot clean with a sponge dipped in hot water. The heat helps break up the wax. Then wipe it with a paper towel or gently scrape with a credit card. Use a wooden skewer or chopstick to dig out thicker wax. It is recommended to use a battery operated candle or lite but not necessary.
