The event takes place on a major artery in the heart of Lincoln Park, where high home values meet the DePaul University population. The area is the home to many of Chicago's oldest and most favored restaurants. Begun as a small neighborhood fund raiser, today Taste of Lincoln Avenue is one of the largest neighborhood festivals in the region, covering six city blocks.
