About

Donna Haney Art Studio, Bethlehem, PA

Art has always been an important part of my life, knowing since childhood that being an artist and creating art would be my living. Presently  my time is devoted to both painting and drawing landscapes,  drawing cartoon portraits and caricatures at social events, face painting for parties and other social events, and drawing/painting realistic portraits from life or photos.

Painting and drawing au plein aire landscapes have been my passion since I began painting outdoors, 20+ years ago.  The beauty of the natural landscape, the colors of the seasons, the atmosphere and spirit of a place, are my inspiration.

Murial Corcoran was my first art teacher in childhood into teen years.  Afterward, I attended  painting workshops with artists such as Bob Rohm, Kenn Backhaus, T.M. Nicholas, Robert Doney, John Booth, and others..  I  studied painting and drawing at the Pa. Academy of the Fine Arts, the Baum School of Art, and oil painting at Northampton Community College.

Presently in addition to drawing & painting landscapes,  I've been traveling locally ( about 100 mile radius) to draw caricatures and also do face painting for special events where people of all ages can be drawn.  If you are interested in hiring me for your event,  please text or call 484-809-2843 to discuss your ideas together with information on hourly pricing.
